 UPCOMING CLASSES & EVENTS: No classes are scheduled until Spring 2009. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS: 1) Percussive Impact Play: Toys for the Body, Mind and Spirit by Heart© Two hour Class: Lecture, Class Demo Scene and Audience Lecture Demonstrations Dancing toys? Transform your style of playing with toys through beat and dance. The class emphasis is on using impact toys in a percussive, rhythmic and spiritual flow style. Additionally, it will cover developing an intention prior to play, how to create energetic flow with various toys, energy building with your play partner, maintaining mindfulness, and safety. The first hour consists of a lecture with handouts, audience technique demonstrations, scene demonstration with a class demo-model. In the second hour Heart will engage in more lecture and Audience Demonstrations and answer individual play questions. The class is designed for those who are already playing and wish to learn new impact play styles and techniques. 2) Beyond the Duality of Hands: Playing Energetically with Hands and Body by Heart© Two hour Class: Lecture, Class Demo Scene and Audience Lecture Demonstrations There is no need for toys. You can play anytime with energetic hands and body. This class will show you sensual face slapping, energetic body punching, body locking, and body walking in a rhythmical way! The focus will be on creating a spiritual flow during play, utilizing rhythm percussion, breathing, creating intention, energy building with your play partner, maintaining mindfulness, and safety. The first hour consists of a lecture with handouts, audience technique demonstrations, scene demonstration with a class demo-model. In the second hour Heart will engage in more lecture and Audience Demonstrations and answer individual play questions. The class is designed for those who are already playing and wish to learn new impact play styles and techniques. 3) The Heart of Spiritual Flogging by Heart© 2 Hour Class - Scene Lecture, Scene Demonstration, and Question & Answer Period This introduction demonstration class is designed for experienced players who are interested in integrating fluid percussion flow, heart, spirit and sensual Power Exchange in their Flogging play explorations. Heart has developed a unique ritualized style of flogging play that is steeped in her spiritual self-awareness practice. This style creates a fluid and natural flow of powerful sensual scene building. The class consists of a brief introduction, scene lecture with handouts, scene demonstration and Question & Answer period with Heart and her demo-scene model. Ms. Heart is the Project Manager for the award winning art project, Bay Area Women of Color Photo Project since 2003. She received her formal Ritual High-Protocol training from her former mentor whom introduced her to the high ritual lifestyle arts in 2000. In 2006 the BAWOCPP made history and as the first womens focused project to be featured in the Folsom Street Fair Program Guide. In 2005 they presented A Snapshot in Diversity, a projected slide show and panel discussion at the SF Citadel. She has been interviewed by the Spectator Magazine and Eros Guide Zine. She was a featured website model in 2004 for Bay Area photographer Larry Utley, modeled for the Two Knotty Boys for one of their 2004 classes and is a model in their new book Two Knotty Boys Showing You The Ropes photographed by Larry Utley. Additionally, she participated in a How to work with a Model, a panel presented by the Society of Janis in 2002 and was a demo model for Fetish Diva Midori's class A Journey with the Ancestors at QSM in San Francisco. She brings a vast knowledge in the areas of committed spiritual practice since 1993, art, poetry, intense personal self–examination, continued education, professional community involvements and social activism.
